About Kara Wernli

Kara Wernli has been a licensed, practicing physical therapist for over 13 years. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2003, with a degree in Health and Human Performance. She went on to earn her master’s degree in Physical Therapy from The University of Oklahoma in 2006. Kara was a standout basketball player throughout her high school and college education.

For seven years, Kara worked with Encompass Home Health and Hospice as a physical therapist. She enjoys treating patients and positively impacting their overall health. She began her journey with Tulsa Accident Care Center in 2020 and has played a crucial role in our patients’ road to recovery.

Kara grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She married her husband in 2002 and they have three children. Kara has a passion for basketball and has been a coach for 10 years. When she is not coaching or cheering on her three kids in their athletic endeavors, you can find her with her family exploring different regions of the U.S. or spending warm Tulsa afternoons poolside.
